The goal of the Passenger’s Portal is to cover the travelers’ needs as regards to journey planning and obtaining information about timetables, lines and routes. It does so offering ways to consult and plan routes, and allowing access to journey history. It also allows them to control recharges and control actions carried out with their transport card.

When planning a journey, the first thing to do by the user is to input some basic search parameters Planificacion such as point of origin and destination. After doing so, more data can be added, such as time, date, journey time, number of transfers and itinerary.

Once the user has introduced all data, the relevant results appear on screen, this includes the number of stops on the itinerary, transfers, distances on foot or which routes belonging to which operators have to be taken.

If the traveller wishes, they can also look for information about stops, stations or specific routes and operating times.The application shows all this information including a breakdown of the route the selected line takes.

The information is shown schematically, with texts, or with photos and maps, in an effort to provide the largest amount of information possible.

This system also allows the users to consult the use and recharge of their contactless card, by registering themselves on the user area of the web application, following the instructions on screen.

Once they are identified, they will have access to the data about their use of the card as well as information about recharges.
